Three Men Arrested After Church Fire
WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. Following an outbreak of fire at tlio Wellington Bpiritualists' Chufck earlv tbis mo'rning, tliree men have been taken into eustodv by the police. iteceiving the alarm at 1.29 a.m., thfe lire brigade found the exterior ,wall on the south side of Ihe church, which is an Kent Terrace, a few hunclred yards from the Central Fire Station, in flames. Thero was no trouble in quicklv quenehing the outbroak. The police, acting on infonnation received, detained three men. The damage to the building was to the exterior wall surrounding the entrance porch and a nearby window, front door and part ot the paling fence. Tlie interior damage was negligible.
