WANGANUI, Feb. 18. When stumps were drawn today in the llrst day's play in the reiiresentaLive crickot match between Fiji and Wanganui, severn Wanganui batsmen were dismissed in the iirst iuuings for 66 runs after Fiji had compiled 221 for the loss of four wickets and declared. Top scorer for Wanganui was J. Barnett with 20. The Fijian bowlers Isoa (6 for 37) and Fenn (4 for 24) accounted for the Wanganui wickets. The opening batsmen for Fiji (Apted 02 and Kaddock 94) had hard luck in not registering centuries and all proved enterprising batsmen. The Fijians treated the Wanganui attack with scaut respect.
