Tilyard, at Monday night's meeting, of the Levin Borou'gh 'Coiih'cil. TWo hweilings were coftipleted durlhg 'the mohth of Jan-U-ary and several others had 'beeh occupied although not yet coinpleted. During January -twelve permits of a value of £19,790 were issued ior new dwellings and eight permits fof a value of £4'l3- for alterations ahd additions to existing dwellings. M the period from April l; 1947, to January 31 a total of 62 permits, va-lued in ,«all at £101, '9Tl, wei*e ■issued for new dwellings.
