Anglican Ladies' Guild's February Meeting

r Nineteen members were- present at the first meeting for this year of ihe Church of England' Ladies' Guild. The president, Mrs. J. P. Allerby, was in the chair. Mrs. G. W. Munford offered -to do, the sick calls for February and Mrs. R. E. Vmsen was appointed to the care of the church. It was decided that on Wednesday, February 18, a social evening would be Held in the Parish Hall to give parishioners and any others who care to come, an opportunity to meet Rev..M. J. S. Wheeler, newly inducted minister for .the combined FoxtonShannon parish. Ladies, are asked to bring a plate for supper. All I Pfesent were in f avour of limited alterations at the price quoted being carried out to the kitchen of the hali to give more light and ventilation. It was felt that the provision of an adequate supper room be left until timber was in better supply. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs* and Miss Allerby.
