. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 16. The following resolution was carried at a meeting of the executive of the Canterbury, Westiand, Nelson and Alarlborough Clothing Trades Union this evening: "That we protest against the published statement of the Minister of Labour, Alr. McLagan, that he would take aetion against tlie Carpenters' Union adopting a go-slow poliey, as this was the agreed aetion of the union iu its struggle to restore to its workers their relative position with dther' sections of the bujlding industry."
