WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. An appeal to carpenters in the Wellington district to vote according to their couvictions, has been made by the Wellington Builders Joiners' and Con tractors' ludustrial Union of Emploj' ers, in coimection witli the eompulsorx stopwork meeting of carpenters to morrow to consider the situation eaused by thc resumpLion of the go-slow policv. Tlu- appeal states that it is only by all nien voting according to their convictions that union ollicials will know what the nien desire. It is known that the niajority of the men do not want to flout the Govenuueut and do not wish to break the law as has been the case on jobs where nien have goue slow.
