Remanded On Murder Charge

CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 17. v A remand u'ntil February 25, was granted William Eric Cooper, nurseryman, 43, when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning charged with the murder of Leslie James. Boswell at Clifton, Sumner, on. February 9. Cooper was also charged with assaulting Florence Mand Cooper at Christchurch, on February 4. Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., was on the Bench. Applying for a remand, Detective-Ssrgeant A. A. Heron, said that there were still many inquiries to be made.
