E. Hudson; however, expressed the opinion that r.egular customers were better off under a system whereby they reeeived one gallon of petrol each day from their supplier. The members in that organisation had made every endeavour to make the scheme work. Others are very thankful that some deflnite system has been reached. One stated that he thought that what had caused the shortage in Levin, was the fact that many Wellington motorists had wanted their tanks filled when they passed through. "This will definitely relieve the. position in Wellington, and thus throughout the province," stated another.
