Cruiser's Mysterious Move
Received Monday, 11.15 a.m. CAPETQWN, Feb. 15. The British 80.00-ton cruiser, Nigeria, received unexpected orders to leave Simonstown tonight for an undisclosed destinatiori. The Nigeria is the ne'arest cruiser to Greenwich Islaird in the South Shetlands over . which Britain, Argentine and Chile are having a territorial dispute. The naval authorities at Simonstown anoounced merely that the "Nigeria is temporarily withdrawn from the Africa station." Storek taken aboard the Nigeriatoday included woouen and leather clothing for the ship's cornplement, which includes marines.
