Children Hurl Eggs At Mystery Serial
Reqeived Snnclay, 8.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 15. The juvenile audien.ee at a suburban pieture theatre yesterday afternoon, so disapprqved of a mystery serial that they vented their disapproval hy hurling eggs around the darkened theatre almost causing a riot. Children screamed when eggs stiuck them. The theatre proprietor stopped the lilm and switched on the lights but only the sight of police uniforms ouietened the- children. Thepolice have several suspects hut the children, in the tradition of film gangsters, "are not talteing". The proprietor said Satnrday afternoon : audiences in future will • be closely inspected for hiaden missiles. The only brjght spot ahbnt yesterday 's exhibition is that the eggs were not bad.
