. ■ ■■ ■ ■ ■ ■* *pr. ■ - ■ •* WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. Venerable Archdeacon A. L. Hansell, former Archdeacon of Wellington and of the Wairarapa, died at his home- in Karori today, aged 73. The Archdeacon who was born at Norwich, England, retired in 1939. He was formerly vicar at Karori and Lower Hutfc and . has • been described as one of the finest parish priests ever to work in the Wellington Diocese. He is survived by two 'daughters, Mrs. R. A.- Stewart, of Khandallah, and NMrs. W. -E. D. Davies, oi Oamaru, His brother, Mr. H. P, Hansell, was for some years tutor to King Geprge VI,
