Craftsmen employed by a Birmingham firm of goldsmiths which has made gold and siiver jilate for nearly every monarch in Europe, have eompleted a solid gold tea service valued at £12,U00, to tlie order of an unnamed lndiau Prince. 'i'he service was carerully packed in a special shoek-resisting crate and. was ilespatched by air to india this week. it will be followed shortly by a full dinner service also ot solid gold and valued at £80,000. The Prince suppiied iuodels and patterns iiased upon ancient indian designs and these were faithfully copied by tlie Dritish craftsmen.
