Historic Home Nearly Razed By Fire
Received Friday, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 12. Fire almost destroyed the historic 33-roomed Naseby Hall, Northamptonshire — scene of the baitle between the Roundheads and Royalists in 1645. The owner and his wife were trapped in their room and escaped by lying sheets and blankets together for a rope.
