YACHT RANGI LOCATED
Craft Now Off Botany Bay ; Crew All Well Received Friday, 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 13. The New Zealand cutter Rangi was sighted this -afternoon three miles south of Botany Bay. All members of the crew are well. The cutter was first sighted from Gowrie Beach, 18 miles * south of Sydney. On receipt /J**f f fhe news-the secretary of ' "Tiro Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Mr. J. A. Kyd, arranged for an R.A.A.F. aircraft to be sent out and identification was definitely estal)lished. A freighter passed close to the Rangi and also established identification. She has no engine and the time of her arrival at Sydney depends on the wind. The Rangi is 19 days out from Auckland. She took 21 days when she last made the passage some years ago. The Rangi's crew consists of her owner and skipper, M. Anthony, and J. Keen, A. Anthony, H. Podmore and M. Gosgrave. Mr. Podmore is the son of the Mayor of Foxton. '
