Pretty Levin Bride In Gown Of Satin
A pretty wedding of widespread Levin interest was / solemnise'd on Saturday when Noia Patricia, daughter of .Mr. and Mfs. W. H. Walker, of Levin, was married to Jaib-es Edward Fullarton, of Levin, spn of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Fullarton." !St. John's Methodist Church had been beautifully decorated "for' the occasion by Miss J. Sorenseri. -Rev. H. S. /Kings perfOrmed the ceremony and the wedding music was" ' played by Mr . F. h: Baumber. Entering -the church escorted by her fa'ther, the bride was a charming picture in a magnificent period gown' of heavy parchment satin, trimmed with guipure lace. She wore a beautiful Honiton lqce veil and" - carried a praver book and
spray of "rose buds. The bridesmaids "Were Misses Marie Walker (sister of the bride) and Ann Denton. They were frocked alike in deep lavender georgette, with dra,ped bodices and ,full skirts trimmed "with accordian pleated motifs arranged fanwise. They wore Juliet caps and gloves of deeper tone. Victorian posies in blending shades completed their attr active toilettes. The bridegroom was atten'ded by Mr. L. Brown, of Wellington, as bestman and Mr. B. W. Walkef (the bride's brother) as groomsman. The uShers at the church were the bride's two brothers, Messrs. A. and G. Walker, At a reception later t'he guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Walker and the bridegroom's sister, Miss P. H. Fullarton. Mrs. Walker was attired in a frock of lido blue, With niatehing hat and flowers. Miss Fullarton chose chartreuse floral georgette and hat and flowers to tone. Among those present ■were Mr. G. Petherick, grandfather of the bride, Mrs. Elliott, aunt .of the bridegroom, and Mr., Mrs. and Miss Fullarton, of New Plymouth. When the bride later appeared for travelling she wore a green and tan suit, with tan accessories. The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Fullarton will be in Levin.
