A reinit: urging the Government to make iniinediate efforts to r.educe the , uumber of people engaged in the civil | service, was passed unanimously at the j annual conferenee of tlie New Zealand, ' Manufacturers' Federation. The Government should reduce | staff wherever possible to make wmrkers j available for productive industry.
