| An ittdicatioir of ' the present prices for paint was revealed at a meeting of the Horowhenua College Advisory committee last night,; when it was stated that the cost of painting the college wpuld be m the vicinity of £1200. . Qf this, the Education Board is willing io make a grant of twothirds pf the totai cost. The remaining third would have to be found by the committee. • "We cannot afford to contribute £400 towards the painting of the buildings," commented the principal, Mr. N. A. Byrne. The committee is to ask the board for a grant to .cover the cost of painting the whole of the college buildings.
