AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. Cheques totalling £782,815 have been distributed to wool growers in the Auckland proviuce as the net proceeds of "the season's sceond auetiou of new season 's greasy wool in Auckland ou November 21. The iuitial sale in October realised £150,825, makiug the total distribution for tlie iirst two saies £933,640. This ligure represeuts the ].)roceeds of at least a third of the province's expected clip this season. On . this basis the year's production in the Auckland proviuce should realise something about £3,000,000 compared with . about £1,4(10,000 liefore the war, wliile the total Dominion clip for the season should yield well over £30,000.000 or nearlv doyble tlie 1939-40 total and over three times that of 1938-39. At-tlie season's second sale in Auckland on November 21, oflicial, statistics released by the secretary of the Auck- i land Woolbrolcers' Associatiou today, ! sliowed that all of the 25,502 „biilfis oil'ered were sold.
