.MASTERTON, Fol). 9. A sclioollioy wa-* killed instantlv iD a road accident at Carterton late t h iiafternoon. He was Rex Reginald Falconcr, aged ten, son of -Mr. and M rs. R. M. Falconer, Rliodes Street, Carterton. The hoy is reported to have heen riding with two other bovs on the tray of a tnu-k owned hy M r. \V, Pinfold. of Carterton, and driven bv Mr. W. J. Denby. As the truck turned froni Last Taratahi Road into Dorset Road, the boy rolled on to the road. The driver fe.lt a hump and looking round, saw the boy lying 011 the road. The boy 's head was cruslied and he was fouml to be dead.
