Rev. Datson Inducted At Lyall Bay
. The new v'icar of tlie Anglican parish of Lyall Bay, Wellington, the Rev. J. H. Datson, former viear of the Foxton-Shannon parish, - was installed in his new parish last Week. The ceremohy was pierform-" ed by the Archddaeon of Wellington, the Ven. E. J. Rich. Mr. Datson was dnducted by the -Rev. L. N. Watkins, of Wadestown.- Many' clergymen were preseri't •at tlie service and the church was full. At a*. social afterwards, Mr. and- Mrs. Datson were welcomed by the church wardens, Messrs. H. Hicks and W: Burt, and Archdeacon Rich also spoke. The Rev. M. J. S. Wheeler, formerly of Hawera, who has takenover fche Rev. Datson's parish here, was inducted at All Saints' Church. Foxton, last evening. Many local members of the church were present. '
