Messrs! Townsend and Paul, fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, report that during the past week increased consignments of fruit have been offering with values comparatively firm. There is a particularly keen demand for all choice lines of apricots, peaches a'nd plums, while nectarines which have been cohiing to hand more freely, are a little.easier in values. In the vegetable section all lines have been realising satisfactory prices. Heavy yardiiigs of poultry have been offere'd, with values firm at current rates..
