The extra cut would m.eap thqt he would sell 640 gafions oi petrol less in February than he did in January. "Hqw they worked it out. that it wa's only a 10 pey cent. cut. I don't know," he said, "The cut represents 25 per cent. of my s.upplies." At 1.30 p.m. yesterday afttinoon, he had only 28 gaUons left to last until 8,30 last pight, "My petrol tanks are practieahy full," ! he said-, "but I dare not sell a drop until next month." The majority of his customers were very |air, he continued, but a small percentage made "outra- ; geous" demands for anythihg up,to ' tbn gallons.
