German Research Being Used by Allies
Received Thursdav, 7 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 28. A series of 50 comprehensive reports dealing with ail aspects., of scientific. technieal, and industrial inforniation ohtained from captured German documents and records is to be published bv the Board of Trade at the end of June. "The reports are the work of British experts who have been speeial ly detailed to sift the mass of technieal and scientific inforniation ohtained 111 Ger many, and have been prepared in full collaboration with the Americans. All int'ormation which is likely to be useful to British industry is being inadc available to, appropriate tirms by the Board of Trade. Already 2720 interim reports based upon captured German material have been issued, and new publications are designed to summarise the more important of these. The reports cover sucli subjects as agriculture, the aircraft 111 dustrv, building materials,* camera manutacturing, various branches ot cngineei'ing, cerainics, glass lna'nufac turing, gas turbines, '' plastic.s, p'ajier and pnlp making, and ra.voir and svnthetic iibres.
