Post-Section Play In Bowling Tourney
DUNEDIN, Jan. 22. Section play in trhe fours competition of tlie New Zealand bowling ckampion-j tiliip tournament, was completed today in brilliant sunshine. The greens were ! faster tlian ever. The warni sun was | rnuch appreciated by the players but ! later in the moniing a tricky breeze be- j gan to blow and prevailed for the rest i of the day on most of the greens. This interfered considerably with the accur- 1 aey of the play and was possibly the 1 cause of oue or two unexpected upsets. At the end of the linal round fours had the six wins necessary to qualify, iueluding Jive fours with eight wins each.
