Woman Arrested At Manakau And Charged
Arrested at Manakau on Wednesday, a young woman latsr appea'red before Messrs. H. Nicolson and H. Bv Edhouse J.P's., in the Police Court, Otaki, charged that on January 9, at Taumarunui, with intent to inj.ure or annoy ■one, Elespeth Gwendoline Denison^ did cause her to take poison. The' arr.ested woman was Fay Roberta Phillips. Detective - Sergeant Cromwell, who appeared for the police, asked that accused be remanded to appear at Taumarunui cn January 30. This was granted by the Bench. ________________
