Ladies' Bowling
Four members of • the ladies' bowling club from the Manawatii green, Palmerston North, -paid a visit to thee local green last weekend and spent a very enjoyable, afternoon with four „ local lady players. Although weekend rain made playing conditions rather heavy, nevertheless the standarb of bowhng by both teams received favourable comment from the male .bowlers present. Th local club membership is steadily increasing, and some very pleasant days- were spent on the green during the holiday perio'd.
