Sir,— I wish to give a denial-to a statement made by Mr. Geocge Mann in the Magistrate's Court, Otaki, on Thursday, that I was vxaid for looking after his horse. This is not so. I received no payment. 1 denied.this in court, but it was not published in your • report of che case. Your's etc.,
