Egyptians Fire on Two R.A.F. Planes
Received Tuesday, 10.25 a.m. CA1RO, Jan. 19. The British Charge d'Aft'aires at Calro has protested to the Egyptian authorities against the action of Egyptian Air Force Spitfires firmg on a Royal Air Force Anson and Prootor when the latter were iiying from Palestine to Egypt. The Spitfires holed one of the Proctor's! wings, but there were no casual-j ties. ' The British planes were off their course and Egyptian planes fired on i ihem after tney had passed thei iorbidden area. j
