Stud Rams Take to the Air
WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. Laden with 35 stud rams, a National Airways' Dakota took ofl from Paraparaumu this morning for Blenheim.' The rams were purchased at the stock saies at Feilding and Masterton, and are valued at £9000, DifScuity was experienced in transferring them from their trucks to the aircraft. Some were reluctant to abandon the . lorries. while others rushed enthusiastically into the machines and careered about the fuselage. Planning increased freight services, the corporation is to convert aircraft to carry racehorses. On Wednesday, two flights are to be made to Nelson with 16,000 lbs. of raspberries from Wellington.
