It was further recommended that tlie present quota system be con tinued and that ii> fixing tlie order oi priority for admission to the 120 places, consideration be given to education background, aeademie ability, laboratory skill and personal qualities. The committee was satisfied tliat tlie train ing given in the .Otago Afedical Sehool Was sound. • Tlie success of its gradu ates overseas indicates tliat its studenti were quite able to hold their own with similar students from British Universi ties. Afinority reports were presented by Mr. A. J. Johnstone Iv.C.-, Air. W H. Cocker and Sir Thomas Hunter. It was expected that the complete after noon session would be devoted to a dis, cussion of the report.
