MARSHALL AID THREAT TO EMPIRE TRADE

The Sunday Express, in an editorial, says: " However ,-much we appreciate ' the" 'oi'dtna'ry Anieridan eitizen's gener- : ous intentions, we must not blind ouri selves to the fact that the Marshall aid is the biggest threat to' Empire trade we have ever had to faee. It surpasses the sell-out at the 'Geneva trade conference. The Marshall Plan will unbalance all schemes we made for Empire developments and will tie us perhaps forever to American and European econoinies. ' ' ■
