CUSTOMS OFFICERS SWOOP ON SHIPS AT MELBOURNE
Received Monday, 11.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, Jan; 12. Customs officers who raided . the E&yptian ship Misr seized 10,000 American cigarettes and dozens of indecenit photographs printed" in Italy. In another raid they confiscated a quanfity of opium in an oil tanker. Other raids proved abortive hecause the crews had been warned of the anproach of the searching party.
