Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh have leased Windlesham Moor, Surrey, and will be taki'ng up residence there in due course. Tne announcement confifms a Daily Mail report that the Royal pa.ir seleeted Windlesham Moor after the fire 011 August 30 had destroyed their future home at ounninghall' Park. Windlesham Moor is a beautiful Surrey estate of fifty acres. The owner is Mrs. Warwick Bryant, formerly Mrs. Phillip .Hill, widow of the millionairje financier. She is at present in South Africa. Reuter's Court eorrespondent says he understands that Princess Elizabeth and the Duke will use Windlesham Moor as a weekend home rather than as a permanent residence, beeause the Duke's duties at the Admiralty will keep him in London during the week.
