If a settlement cannot be achieved at the nieeting, an extension of the strike is feared. .Many Bydney butchers will not open their shops tomorroAv but hope to reopen later in the week with supplies of f'rozen meat. Housewives thronged the butchers ' shops today- and there was also a heavy run on c anned Yneats.
