DRY SPELL CAUSES RUSH OF LAMBS TO WORKS
MASTERTON, Jan. 6. The dry weather being experienced in the Wairarapa is eausing a rush of f at lambs and sheep into the Waingawa freezing works this week. Thfe entry. of cattle, bobby calves and pigs into the works has been suspended and all efforts are being coiicentrated on the killing of fat lambs. The men at the works are working at high pressure to meet the situation.
