BODY OF MAN FOUND IN TIMARU HARBOUR

TIMARU, Jan. 4. Tlie b'ody of a mau was recovered from the water oif the eastern extensiou, Timaru harbour, about 6 p.m. today. He was Mr. Patrick James Macauley, aged 5S. A boy first saw the body at 6.45 p.m. on Saturday entangl'ed in a lieap of seaweed but could not reach it. He' went for assistance and 011 his return the body had disappeared. The police commenced dragging operations which were continued this afternoon at low tide.
