Marsha Hunt and Gail Patrick are wearing their 1948 wardrobe for oheir roles in "End of the Rainbow" at Republic, although the period of the picture is 1933. j In studying fashion magazines of the latter year, Adele Palmer, Republic designer, discovered that the 1933 and 1948 styles are almost exactly the same — including the unpadde'd shoulders, the long skirts, small waists, and even pointed shoe's, which, in case you did not know ,are also on their way back.
