From evidence available it would ap pear that Francis I'hilip MinogUe, who ,vas found on Christmas eve in the lane oeside tlie opera House, suffering fronv head injuries and who died later in lospital, w.is eugaged in a fight, stated Senior Detective E. II. Compton today. He said that after the, fight Minogue vas carried across to tlie lane beside he Opera House where he was found. Tlie police believe the figlit took place befween 7 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. on Christmas eve.
