GIRL'S LEG AMPUTATED.
' A Hamilton girl spending her holidays in Auckland suft'ered injuries which later required the amputation oi her left leg when a party was leaving for a dav's fishing from Panmure. She was Josephine Wooller, aged 16, daughter of Mr. F. G. Wooller, of Hamilton. The party had set^out from Panmure in a 26-foot mullet boat. Passing under the Panmure bridge the boat wa.s vaught ,by. the tide and the girl, who was sitting near the side, had her leg crushed between the boat and a pile oi ihe bridge. She was sent to the Middlemore Hospital.
