9*. Last Satui'day the Hautere Rifle Club fired a seven-shot shoot over J 300, 500 and 600 yards. The con- , ditions were very hot with a vari- : able left wind up to six' degrees. i This shoot did not count in the : championhsip series and there was j no trophy, but members held a sweepstake at each range and this : creaied much interest.
