Dr. Turnbull is a Labour rnember who for some months has been threatening to go over to the Independents because his views do not coincide with Labour 's policy, Dr. Turnbull has expressed himself as opposed to Labour 's socialisation plans. "Bank nationalisation is just madness. i am utterly o])posed to it and I do not cave who knows it," he said. "1 am against pressure g;ronp tactics and believe that every man in Parliament -should be free to choose, aet, vote and behave as his eonscienee dictates." His tote can eonfirm or defeat Tptbour in power.
