The New Zealaiul barque Pamir wlien she last reported lier positiou to her Dondon agtnts. the Union Steamship Company, liad eleared the doldrums and reported that she expected to rea*h Britain by Christmas Dav. xlll tho canvas on the vessei is intact and she is averaging between seven and eight knots hourly. Groat interest is being takou in shipping cireles in the vessei 's arrival and many applications liavo lieen received by the shipping eonipany for perniits to go aboard when she arrives in the Thames. It is not yet known wliether the vessei will dock lirst at the Port of London or Hull.
