Amateur Athletic Club A reminder is giVen to all followers of sport.in this district of the meeting arranged to endeavour to form an amateur athletic club in Shannon, and to be held in Laurvig's Hall at 7.30 p.m. this evening. It is hoped that all interested persons will make an endeavour to attend. Marching Cancelled Local teams will not be making the trip to Palmerston North on Saturday fqr the Manawatu Centre marching championships as the flxture has been cancelled. It is understood that local teams will not be holding their usual practices in the meantime. Coaches will advise team members when practices will recommence.
