CHILDREN'S GATHERINGS NOW BANNED
The attendance of children under 16 years of age at any gatherings throughout New Zealand has been prohibited under instructions by the Director-General of Health, T. R. Ritchie, to all district medical officers of health. "The epidemic is smouldering on," he said. "How quickly we don't know because there are so many suspected cases."
