LADIES' COMPETITIONS
During the past week only one game has been played in the fourth round of the Levin Ladies' Bowling Club's singles championship. This resulted in Mrs. Lacey defeating Mrs. Gibson. In a challenge singles match for the Thelma Brooch, Mrs. Mudgway beat Mrs. McKinstry 22 — 16. On Thursday another series of pairs games for the Lett Brooches saw Mesdames Nichols and Stevens secure a further win.
