FAMOUS CHINESE ACROBATS

APPEARANCE IN LEVIN The world-famous acrobats and equilibrists, the Kwan Brothefs, will bring to the Regent Theatre tomorrow and Wednesday thrills, laughter, magic and melody for the entertainment of Levin lovers of the "flesh and blood" show. The troupe come direct to Levin from a highly successful tour of New Zealand with the Ella Shields "For Ever Glamour" show, in which they were acclaimed as the leading attraction. Two of their most famous acts are the death defying dive through a barrel of knives and a leap by one of the troupe fi'om a human tower holding a tray with three glasses of ale in it, none of which is spilled. In their conjuring and juggling the Kwahi Brothers bring all the magic and mystery which has made exponents of the art from the Orient famous. * This vaudeville will be presented in conjunction with a short film programme and matinees are being ■ held both days.
