GALA D-AY ARRANGEMENTS Si.cps to crgamse a gala day on January 2 were Ireeiy aiscussed at Tuesday's meeting of the Otaki War Memorial society and subject uO no iurther restrictions being necessary, a very comprehensive programine was considered. Sideshows, ban'ds, Highland dancers, horse events, merry-go-round, Maori entertainers, marching girls, treasure hunt, life saving, wrestling — all these and more — were given consideration, the event to open with a grand pro- 1 cession of decorated venicles. Further details will be attended to at a meeting on December 16.
