: * Personal __ ... Matron Dowling, of the Health Camp, has retumed from Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. B. Ryder have returned from Woodville, where they were the guests of Mrs. I. Nelson. Matrop Hodges, formerly of the Health Camp, leaves_ early in tne new year for Australia. Otaki Band Piaying Well On most of its recent appearances the performance of the Oraki Band has been most pleasing, and its piaying on Friday night called forth further praise. It is evident that the, band has made marked progress and further appearances are awaited; Sale of Sections There was keen competition for 32 building sections in the Riverside Estate, Waikanae, when they were auctioned by S. George Nathan and Co. on Saiurday. They realised a total of £6125. The subdivision has a frontage to the main road and two newly formed roads. Many of the siteis have nativcv trees on them. Prices for single lots varied from £150 to £255. One lot of four realised £750 and one lot of three, £650. There are still some sections avaiiable in the subdivision. These will be sofd by the auctioneers privately.
