Wellington Art Gallery

Specifications for the work of restoring the Museum and Art Gallery at Buckle Street have now been completed, and tendeys will be called by the Public Works Department just after Christmas. This was announced at a recent meeting of the board of trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum. Progress is being made with alterations and repairs to the Carillon tower in order to make it available to the public at the earliest possible date.
