NURSERY PLAY CENTRE

ATTENDANCES IMPROVE J The monthly meeting of the Levin Play Centre was held recently, Mrs. H. B. Burdekin presiding over a large attendance of members. Apologies were received from Mesdames G. Sharp, J. Macdonald and E. Trotman. Members were advised that permission had been granted i'or the erection of a see-saw and swi.ig in the play centre grounds for the amusement of children during the summer months. Attendances have improved very considerably during the present term, which is very encouraging to the supervisors. During the weekend it was decided to close the centre immediately as a precaution against infantile paralysis.
